After several weeks work (and reportedly £450,000) to refurbish the Chelsfield, including the kitchen, toilets and bar area the pub is scheduled to reopen for business on the 3rd September 2021. There was an on-line presentation and we were shown some of the plans and colour schemes, as well as being introduced to Mike who is the new Manager in a "Franchise Partnership" with Punch. We look forward to seeing all the work completed and exploring the newly refurbished pub. Here are a couple of photos of the work in progress (the new garden photo - credit to Norman Warner, CAMRA).
